Many years ago there was a song in the charts that went something like this:
Little boxes made of ticky tacky, Little boxes, little boxes……..
Sometimes we can feel hemmed in by the boxes that contain us.
Like, our house, our job, our environment, our business, illness, our relationships, commitments, responsibilities and the list goes on.
But I want to let you know that you need never be contained by your past, your thoughts or your limitations.
God wants you to live an unlimited, abundant, out of the box life.
It’s your decision to step out of the box and into a wide, expansive and larger life.
Listen to this in 2 Corinthians 6:11-13
Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence (or box) you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small but you’re living them is a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. (Step out of the box!) Live openly and expansively!
How much plainer can God speak to us than in this scripture?
It is with affection for all my family, friends and those others who Jesus died for, that I share this with you today.
Take this message and share it with others. Don’t be afraid to tell them that God has a big, exciting adventure for them and that He loves them.
We shouldn’t be small minded and we should let scripture dictate who we are and what we can do.
Our remains may leave this world in a box, but our spirit has been translated to Heaven where there is absolutely no limitations or restrictions and no boxes!
My good friend Terri Savelle Foy, will be sharing on how we can move forward by setting attainable goals and how to practically achieve them. So if you don’t know how to get out of the box, come to our Flourish Conference on 13th & 14th May. Check it out on bridge-church.com
Life is so daily and not meant to be lived in a box!
Nan
